Position: Part Time (Mon-Fri 20-24 hrs)
Do you love people and enjoy spending time in the garden? Are you people-oriented? Do you have computer skills? Have you ever worked in retail?
The Dothan Area Botanical Gardens is seeking an energetic, outgoing, detail-oriented person to serve as our VISITOR SERVICES MANAGER. The part-time position would entail greeting guests, collecting admission, managing our gift shop, answering the phone and managing our membership program.
You would work 9:00am to 2:00pm Monday through Friday with weekends off.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the volunteer program and gift shop
- Provide exceptional customer service and address any customer concerns or complaints
- Handle various reporting to include tracking income, forecasting volume, and establishing goals
- Coordinate the newsletter and manage the company website
Requirements/Skills:
- Bachelor’s Degree plus 2+ years of retail management experience (museum/non-profit setting is preferred )
- Minimum of a high school diploma/GED and 5+ years of experience is required
- Strong hospitality skills to provide exceptional guest services
- Proficient in cash handling and basic financial transactions
- Ability to manage and coordinate events
- Good computer skills to include MS Excel
