The Gardens are open 365 days a year and we’d love to see you on each and every one of them! Whether you’re looking to learn a bit of the history behind the Gardens or to see as many blooms as possible the Gardens holds something for everyone.
We even have regulars who come daily to walk the paved trails with their four legged friends! Imagine the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens as your backyard… we do!

If you have a small group we would love to work with you to show off the Gardens to the best of our ability and craft a tour just for you.
Group tours are available by reservation only for a small fee of $5 plus the cost of admission. If you would like to book a group tour please call in advance, 334-793-3224, and allow at least seven days notice.
Tram Tours:
Nearly the entire Garden is handicap accessible. However your group may prefer a Tram tour to minimize walking. Our electric tram can be used to shuttle guests from the parking lot for events or for a tour of the gardens.
The tram will seat about 12 adults and is equipped with speakers for a guided tour. While the tour route is the same each time your guide will be available to answer any questions you may have. Feel free to ask to stop and visit individual gardens before re-boarding the tram to continue your tour.
Each tour is approximately an hour although time depends largely on how interactive your group is at each stop.
