In any season, the Gardens are a unique setting for your rehearsal dinner, shower, reception, birthday party, family reunion or business meeting.

The Wedding Garden may be rented independently or in combination with our indoor event space (Ricketts Hall).

The Wedding Garden and Ricketts Hall have a $300 Refundable Damage/Clean-up Deposit that is due 1 month before your event. The Pavilion, Gazebo and Walden Farmhouse have a $100 Refundable Damage/Clean-up Deposit that is due 1 month before your event.
After 5pm Staff and Security Fees are required for the Wedding Garden and Ricketts Hall. This is a $55 fee and has four hour minimum for booking.
Discounted rates are available for non-profit organizations.
The Wedding Garden
This is the perfect romantic setting for daytime or before sunset ceremonies. It’s a formal space featuring a fountain, and a large entrance pergola, wreathed in wisteria vines, with a capacity for 600 seated guests. The alter can accommodate a wedding party of twenty.
Ricketts Hall
Located inside the Ralph and Carolyn Smith Botanical Center, Ricketts Hall provides a spectacular setting overlooking the beautiful flora here at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens. It is ideal for receptions, holiday parties, baby showers, birthday parties, family or class reunions and celebration of life services. Ricketts Hall also provides the perfect venue for corporate events, meetings and retreats.
The Rental Fee for Ricketts Hall includes the Indoor Reception Hall, Catering Kitchen and Tables and Chairs.
Walden Farmhouse
Need something smaller than Ricketts Hall for your next party or gathering? Consider the recently renovated Walden Farmhouse. It’s the perfect space for your baby shower or bridal luncheon… with great seating for a birthday party or graduation spot. With it’s gorgeous Heirloom Garden right outside you’ll have plenty of space for photos with tables and seating inside for all your guests. It’s available during daylight hours only and events must end by 5pm.
Gazebo
Our smallest venue, the Gazebo is tiny but mighty. Situated directly next to our Locks of Love Gate it’s the perfect spot for proposals, small weddings, children’s story-time, or even painting in the garden… the possibilities are endless.
Picnic Pavilion
Looking for a large, covered space outside? We’ve got you covered… literally! Our picnic pavilion has 8 large tables and can hold up to 65 people. It’s great for birthday parties, picnics, arts and crafts, reunions and more.
Situated right next to the Butterfly House it’s the perfect lunch spot after visiting our Wings of Wonder exhibit… and if your little Butterfly is celebrating their birthday you might want to check out our Butterfly Birthday package.
Conference Room
Available only for Corporate Events our conference room is the perfect private space for your next business meeting. Call us for more details.
