Ricketts Hall is our large, indoor, event space and is conveniently located inside the Ralph and Carolyn Smith Botanical Center. It provides a spectacular setting overlooking the beautiful flora at the Dothan Area Botanical Gardens.
It’s the ideal space for receptions, holiday parties, baby showers, birthday parties, family or class reunions and even celebration of life services. Ricketts Hall also provides the perfect venue for corporate events, meetings and retreats.
Ricketts Hall may be rented by itself or in combination with the Wedding Garden as the perfect reception space (or “plan B” in case of a rainy day!)
Ricketts Hall Amenities:
- Accommodations for 200 at a seated dinner, 250 theater style or 400 standing and walking about.
- Flexible Room configurations.
- Full caterer’s kitchen with a warming oven, ice machine, microwave oven, double stainless sink and a full size refrigerator.
- Hardwood dance floor and a terrific outdoor porch that is complete with ceiling fans!
- Large retractable projector screen, podium and wireless microphone.
- Setup and take down of tables and facilely chairs inside Ricketts Hall are included.
- Outdoor tents may be erected on the large lawn outside the back patio with prior permission.
- A private Bride’s room is available for the Bride and her wedding party to get ready on the day of. A space for the Groom and Groomsmen is also available.
